Can't You See?

After hooked on drugs

You're an unbearable sight

Slashing, tearing, shredding your life

Always trying to pick a deathly fight

After a while people begin to see

that something about you just is not right

You wonder about it

Then just pass it on

Passing up dreams

Without a frown

All chance destroyed

And everybody's gone

They tried to warn you

But now it's too late

You didn't even try

Now you face a terrible fate

Who knows now

When you'll turn up at that gate.

But there may be a hope

If you'd put down that dope

And consider your life
